TORNADO TOM OF BENVELLYN
JACK
Ch Shargleam Blackthorn X Shooting Star
DOB 12/12/1990 - 21/09/2001
A real Working Flatcoat, never more happy than when he is retrieving. Steady as a rock and always willing to please. Jack was usually in the awards when entered in working competion.

Sadly Jack slowed down due to a back problem from the age of seven but still kept working untill last year when he retired. At age of 10 he passed away in my arms,my best companion, never to be forgotten.

ROWENDON BLACK MULBERRY OF BENVELLYN
TOM
Ch Ambercroft Blackthorn of Belsud
X
Exclyst Artimis of Rowendon
DOB 14/02/1993
There always has to be a joker in the pack and this is Tom.
Tom's showing career started well until at the age of about 18 months he put on a growth spurt and became far to tall. However his larger than life character endears him to all who cross his path, and we love him very much.
Tom did show a lot of promise as a working dog during his early training. However, forever the joker, he could not help playing to the crowd and after his first two gundog competitions was retired in disgrace.
All is not lost though, Tom is a good rough shooting dog so long as there is not an audience to play to.
